Registration For 2016 Volleyball Camps Now Open

The Kitchener Waterloo Predators Volleyball Club are pleased to announce that registration for the 2016 volleyball camps is now open.

We will again be offering four camps for this summer. For more information or to register for one of our camp, click on the name of the camp.

Junior Camp

The junior camp is one of our most popular camp for boys and girls entering grades 4 to 6 (born in 2005 to 2007 inclusive). This camp will teach the very basic fundamentals of volleyball in a non-competitive and fun setting. Mixed in with the volleyball will be other activities such a games and crafts.

Overall Skills Camp

This camp is intended for athletes who do not play volleyball at the club level. This camp is open to boys and girls entering grades 7 to 12 (born in 1998 to 2004 inclusive). Emphasis will be placed on properly learning volleyball skills and team play.

Setter's Camp

The Setters Camp is a specialty camp that will focus on one of the most important skills in the game, setting. This session is open to 12U to 14U (born in 2002 to 2005) athletes. There will be a very low player to coach ratio, so that each athlete will get individual attention.

Setter's, Libero, Passing and Defense Camp

This camp is a intended for 15U to 18U athletes (born in 2001 and older). This is a skill specific camp accepting both setters and athletes wanting to work on their passing and defensive skills. Only 36 athletes will be accepted, meaning a low player to coach ratio.

Club Camp - Open To Players From Any Club

The Waterloo County Club Camp is intended for those athletes that are currently playing volleyball at the club level. Athletes from all clubs are encouraged and welcome to sign up and participate in an intense and competitive week of volleyball from some of the best volleyball coaches in the province. Club players of all ages are invited to sign up for this camp.

This year's camp will feature the following OUA coaches:

Dustin Reid - Ryerson University Women's Head Coach and a former member of Canada's National Team
Melissa Bartlett - Western University Women's Head Coach and a former member of Canada's Junior National Team
Richard Eddy - University of Waterloo Head Coach
Shayne White - University of Waterloo Men's Assistant Coach
Mark Eddy - University of Watleroo Women's Assistant Coach

Teams that sign up with 6 or more athletes will receive a $25/athlete discount.
