Overall Skills Camp

This camp is intended for athletes who do not play volleyball at the club level. This camp is open to athletes entering grades 7 to 12 (born in 2006 to 2012 inclusive). Emphasis will be placed on properly learning volleyball skills and team play.

Junior Camp

The junior camp is one of our most popular camps.  It is for athletes entering grades 4 to 6 (born in 2013 to 2015 inclusive). This camp will teach the very basic fundamentals of volleyball in a non-competitive and fun setting. Mixed in with the volleyball will be other activities such as games and crafts.

Mini and Pee Wee Camp

This camp is a meant for the youngest of our athletes. This half-day camp is intended for young athletes from 6 to 9 years old (born 2015-2018).

Skills and skill reinforcement will be taught through cooperative and competitive games and activities.

Some of the volleyball games include circulation ball, smackdown and smash ball.

Every day, the children will experience a skill style warm-up, cooperative games, or challenge activities before the new skill is introduced.

Setter's Camp

The Setters Camp is a specialty camp that will focus on one of the most important skills in the game, setting. 

This camp is open to club athletes born in 2006 to 2012, inclusive.

Athletes will be divided into groups based on their skill and experience level. There will be a very low player to coach ratio, so that each athlete will get individual attention. This camp fills up very quickly, so sign up quickly to reserve your spot.

Club Camp - Open To Players From Any Club

The Kitchener Waterloo Predators Club Camp is intended for those athletes that are currently playing volleyball at the club level. Athletes from all clubs are encouraged and are welcome to sign up and participate in an intense and competitive week of volleyball from some of the best volleyball coaches in the province. Club players of all ages are invited to sign up for this camp.

Position Camp

The positional camp is a specialty camp that is only open to club athletes and will allow athletes to focus on their position of specialty.

The targeted athletes are those moving up to play 16U, 17U and 18U, but consideration will be given to younger athletes with permission of the camp director.  To contact the Club Director, Rebecca Pavan, please send an email to rpava22@gmail.com.

A limited number of athletes in each position will be accepted, with the breakdown being:

• Setters – 6 to 8
• Liberos – 6 to 8
• Outside Hitters – 12 to 16
• Middle Blockers – 10 to 12

We will be offering both a female camp and a male camp for athletes that play volleyball at the club level.

Female - July 15, 16, 17 and 18

Locations for Overall Skills Camp and Club Camp

Three locations are listed for the Overall Skills Camp and Club Camp. Locations are based on gender and age, and until we know the gender and age breakdown, athlete locations cannot be finalized. Traditionally, boys have been placed at Waterloo CI, high school girls have been placed at Forest Heights and all other girls have been placed at Rockway Mennonite Collegiate and we hope that this will again be the case this year.

Camp locations for each athlete will be emailed to you in early July.
